We will be grilling whatever delicious local produce we can get our hands on, but hopefully some mackerel fillets, pigeon breasts and venison burgers with all the trimmings. We will also have some delicious salads prepared by the newest member of our team, Gavin.

We are hoping that Gavin will open our butchery in September, but as a seriously well qualified chef, Gavin will also be helping us out with catering, pies and yummy deli items. Why not come and meet him on the 25th and sample some of his food?

The butchery will be fitted out by the end of September this year if all goes to plan. We will then be using woodland pork from Stansted, as well as South Downs lamb and properly hung Sussex beef. As we move into the game season, we will have dressed pheasant and partridge and of course plenty of venison. Initially the butchery will be open Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s.
