Jane creates the cordials using her Grandmothers, Mabel’s recipes. They use carefully selected fruits that are sourced as locally as possible to make stunning cordials; sometimes blending the subtle deep fruit flavours with British herbs to give a choice of refreshing drinks to suit all tastes. In this way they are bringing the best British flavours and tastes of a bygone era to the 21st Century.
The cordials are only available in small independent outlets or direct from Yarty, as they do not sell in Supermakets.
As they use real fruit for all of their cordials, the colours change as the seasons change and different fruits become available. Through trial and experience Jayne now uses fruits and herbs traditionally grown in Britain, along with citrus fruits, sugar and water to give a clean taste that customers really appreciate most. Also, most definitely without any artificial colours or flavours.
The cordials are all hand-produced in similar ways to how Grandmother Mabel made them. Small batches mean they can control quality to the passionately rigorous standards they set themselves.
