We have South Downs Lamb and Mutton, and venison from Stansted. I can highly recommend a couple of venison chops which go well with celeriac mash and braised red cabbage.
We have found the perfect pigs – with a farmer from Birdham supplying small Saddlebacks (and soon some Gloucester Old Spot crosses) to us on a regular basis. The pork is sweet and tender with a nice layer of fat for good flavour and crackling which also keeps the pork succulent. We have all the cuts available.
Finally Gavin’s sausages are now hugely popular – with some new mutton merguez sausages this week and some chipolatas to keep the kids happy over half term. We are still offering 3 packs for £10 so come in and get yourself a homemade bargain.
