These are all fantastic beers – great flavours and a good variety that showcases the best of the UK craft beer revolution. While decent British beers and real ales have been available in the pub, it’s great to see distinctive, outstanding beers in cans and bottles elbowing out those rubbish, flavourless lagers.
Brew Dog’s Punk IPA is a complex hoppy beer with tropical flavours and a spiky finish – rightly the best known of the Craft Beer Brewers.
FourPure’s Oatmeal Stout is brewed in London and follows the capital’s traditional stout brewing heritage. It is full-bodied and creamy with a rich dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavour. (by the way, if you like stout, then I would also highly recommend Hepworth’s Conqueror Sussex Stout – delicious, not too heavy and seriously smooth)
Redchurch’s Shoreditch Blonde A seriously good, grassy, refreshing summer lager.
Bison’s Beast Street IPA – No idea about this one, so I guess we need to do a tasting – brewed in Brighton.
