We have put together an excellent mixed case of wine at a completely bargain price for you to enjoy for the festive period. These wines have been selected especially to give you a nice variety of tried and tested wines that are fantastic value.
The mixed case (see details below) is only £65 which is a saving of over £35 on the RRP – with cases available in the farm shop from Friday. Don’t forget that we also have a great range of wines and beers to complement our delicious local meat, game and fish.

| 75cl 2010 Crozes-Hermitage Rouge “Cuvee Inspiration” | 2010 was a good vintage in many parts of France and this is no exception. It is really only coming into its own now with a few years under its belt. Expect a richly fruited pallet with good tannic structure and layers of fragrant spice, liquorice and sweetness on the nose.

| 75c 2013 Sauvignon de Touraine Domaine du Clos de Roussely | If you’re looking for an alternative to Sancerre then the offering from the middle Loire Tourraine is hard to beat. The best examples made from Sauvignon, and this is certainly one of them, rival Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume.

| 75cl 2011 Mas des Huppes Rouge Chateau Bousquette | This is a big, rich and fruity wine that needs to be opened out so decant it, taste it, and leave for an hour before experiencing the transformation. Meanwhile, the cassoulet is bubbling away, the sun has set on a crisp winter’s evening, and the wine is now softer, more mellow providing the perfect homage to an idyllic French tradition

| 75cl 2013 Il Spareto Bianco di Toscana | Brilliant regional wine from Tuscany. The majority of this is gently oak-aged Chardonnay blended with Malvasìa Bianca. It comes into its own with anti-pasta, and rustic Mediterranean vegetables – grilled artichokes, courgettes etc.
