dexter_cattleWe have some lovely Dexter Beef raised on the Stansted pastures and aged to perfection by Gavin.

Dexter are the smallest British breed of beef that originally came from Ireland – native of the mountains around Kerry. They are ideally suited for conservation grazing as they have less impact on the ground and are happy grazing on a variety of vegetation such as that found at Stansted which is under the Environmental Stewardship scheme.

The joints are naturally smaller than other breeds of beef, with renowned flavour and excellent quality.

The steaks have been ageing for 4 weeks and we have sirloin, fillet and rump available – as well as plenty of other cuts.
