Finally some warm weather – time to root around for your shorts and flip flops, dust off the old BBQ (or invest in this year’s Best British BBQ, the Komado Joe) and start salivating over seared steaks, juicy venison burgers or the ultimate rare breed pork sausage.
Our beef this week is grass-fed Hereford, aged for 33 days and is tender, full of flavour and well-marbled.  We have sirloin, ribeye and homemade Stansted burgers.
Our lamb is reared on the South Downs and is tender and delicious. Every one of our customers who have tried the lamb over the last week or so have commented on how good it is at the moment.  For the BBQ we have new seasons lamb cutlets and chops, homemade Lamb koftas and a spicy Lamb mergeuz sausage

Rare breed pork chops are difficult to beat – just make sure to sear them first and then cook them off the direct heat as they are cut quite large at the moment.  We also have BBQ marinaded pork kebabs and our award-winning Pork sausages.

Finally if you want something a bit wilder we have Stansted wild venison haunch steaks and the exceptional Wild Venison burgers.
