There’s nothing better than marinated meats and Gavin has been doing all fiddly work for you this week, marinating lamb, pork, beef and chicken and infusing the meat with simple, but delicious flavour. We have a range of cuts and marinades to keep you happy with chicken breast, drumsticks, thighs and wings available, alongside lamb chops and steaks, beef topside, silverside and chuck steaks and pork shoulder and leg steaks.

The marinades vary from harissa to a homemade BBQ Rub (made with paprika, cumin, chilli, mustard, coriander, garlic, all spice, ginger, salt and pepper) or rosemary and garlic for the lamb.  The chicken also comes in a soy and ginger marinade that also has garlic, mirin, rice wine vinegar, tamarind, lemon and sugar.

If you want cooking advice, simply ask, although for the chicken we recommend cooking in a pre-heated oven at full heat for 20 minutes. The turn over the chicken and lower the oven to 200 degrees c for a further 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Feel free to add small potatoes at the same time, while adding onions after 20 mins of cooking so they did not burn.
