If we have wild boar and wild venison on the menu, we have to call it a bank holiday banquet! This weekend we have some serious food coming off the grill. This will be available from Thursday 27th April to Monday 1st May 12-2.30pm. You can book tables (02392 413 576) and the courtyard is sheltered perfectly now that we have the new shop building, so you can bask in the sun, out of the wind.
The menu will be as follows:
Bank Holiday Banquet Specials:
- Wild Venison Flatbread – grilled red onion marmalade – 7
- Lamb Shwama Wrap – pickled lemons, quinoa & Middle Eastern salad – 8
- South Coast Plaice Wrap – homemade tartar sauce, lemons & chips – 8
- Roasted Veg Flatbread – humus & pickles with grilled fennel, peppers, squash, asparagus – 6
Pizzas:
- Margherita – passata, fresh mozzerella, fresh basil – 8
- BBQ Pork – 6 hour slow roasted on the Big Green Egg with red pepper, chickpea, coriander- 9
- Asparagus, Bacon & Goats Cheese – 9

- Wild Boar Spring Rolls – salted cucumber, onion & hoi sin sauce – 6
- Chicken & Asparagus Arancini – wild garlic mayo – 5
