New Shop Progress

Well – the builders have left the building!  There is a tiny bit of snagging to do inside, but the wiring, decorating and main build has now been completed.  We are now going to start moving all our equipment, fridges and ovens in over the next week and then we need to stock it.

There is landscaping around the outside that needs to be finished, but now is the exciting part.  You will start to get your car park back, and we are hoping to open the new doors by the August bank holiday weekend.

Sam and I have some serious work to do between now and then, but our current shop is still very much open for business.  Come and have a look at the new site, grab a pizza (open Wednesday – Sunday throughout the summer) and pop in to the shop to say hello to Ruth, Gavin and Lee.  Sam and I can be found gibbering incoherently, with thousand yard stares.

However, I have to say that we have ourselves a seriously impressive new Farm Shop building.  The Douglas Fir pillars and beams look fantastic, and the space, light and atmosphere are incredible.  This will act as a true showcase for our local producers, and we hope to give you a very special shopping and eating experience.
