This week we have some mighty offers at the butchery counter, with 5lbs of beef mince for £13.50 and rump steak at £16/kg.
The beef mince will keep a family fed with aproximately 18 portions of lasagne, spag bol, burgers or cottage pie depending on what you feel like. Lee the butcher can divide the total amount into individual bags, so that you can put some in the freezer if needed. This is aged beef from Chalcroft Farm near Southampton and is seriously tasty.
Our steaks are fantastic value – again, they have been aged by Lee in the chiller so that they have great flavour and again, come from Chalcroft Farm.
In a comparison with Waitrose butchery counter, our steaks come out considerably cheaper – with full traceability (you can ask to see the passport from our butcher if you want).
Our butchery counter is open every day except Monday from 10am to 4pm, with pre-packed meat available every day from 10-5pm.
