We are very excited to announce that Prue Leith, CBE will be Officially Opening the New Farm Shop on Saturday, March 10th, 10am – 2pm. We will also be joined by the wonderful Thomasina Miers so that we can have a proper celebration in our new premises.
We will have a farmers market in the courtyard full of wonderful local producers. It’s a chance to meet and talk to the individuals who have crafted the food and drink of Sussex and Hampshire. We will have cheese producers, meats, condiments and sauces, with wine from the Bolney Estate, Gin from the Winchester Distillery, a local beer or two and chocolate from Chichester based Montezumas. There will be tastings and talks, and of course Gavin will be cooking up some delicious food. The Big Green Egg will be blazing with BBQ food and we are going to have a delicious time of it.
This will be a ticketed event and you are the first to know about it. We want to make sure that we control numbers so that everyone is well looked after. If you would like to attend, tickets will be £5 each and can be redeemed against your lunch. Tickets will be available for sale at the Farm Shop from Friday 26th January. Tickets are available primarily to our customers via the newsletter, but will be available to the general public after that. Numbers are limited, so if you can let us know if you are able to attend, that would be great.
The ribbon cutting will happen at 12 noon and we will keep you posted with further details as and when they are confirmed.
