We had a superb selection of fish at the new fish counter last week, with local octopus, plaice, lemon sole as well as a wide variety of shellfish, bream and bass. The Fresh Fish Shop will be in attendance tomorrow (Thursday) from 10am – 2pm so come and see the counter. Alternatively you can ask for fish to be put aside if you can’t make it in tomorrow before 2pm, just ping us an email.
We also have had a top up of Springs Smoked Salmon, smoked mackerel and kippers and the outstanding Hampshire Chalkstream Trout which is cold smoked and delicious, while their smoked trout pate is seriously good.
While we no longer have Chantelle and Fresh From the Boat’s fish counter – you can still get local dayboat fish delivered to the Farm Shop shortly after it has been landed – so contact Chantelle directly to arrange this.
