We are now stocking Gorilla Spirits Gins, another superb local gin that is made just north of here in Four Marks, Hampshire.  There are two Gorilla Gins, Silverback Mountain strength Gin with a strong but gentle flavour, and Silverback Old Tom gin which is packed with flavour and a little sweeter than the Silverback.

We will be tasting these award-winning gins this Saturday from 12 noon, so do come along and give them a try.

Silverback Mountain Strength gin is ideal for a classic G&T at 46% ABV, handcrafted in small batches.

” With zesty coriander and orange citrus notes at the fore, a touch of spice and the always present freshness of junipier this is a gin made to be savoured. It is clean and refreshing, born from a base of exclusively British wheat spirit and featuring seven botanicals: juniper, angelica, calamus root, sweet orange, coriander, acacia blossom and lemongrass.”

It is well suited to Fever Tree’s Mediterranean tonic or Peter Spanton No.9 Cardamom Tonic Water, with ice and a twist of orange peel.

Old Tom Gin is ideally suited to classic cocktails such as Tom Collins.

With each bottle sold, Gorilla Spirits donates £1 towards Gorilla Conservation and you can find out more here.
