We will have both goat and mutton arriving on Friday – and we also have a superb range of curry and tagine sauces so that you can order with your diced meat. It makes life a lot easier: simply add the sauce and let the slow cooker do the rest. While we love creating our own curry sauces, toasting spices and building up the layers of flavour, it’s also so easy to pour a good quality sauce out and save yourself time and washing up.
We have a couple of fantastic curry sauce companies which make seriously good quality sauces. The Curry Sauce Company has Tikka Massala, Rogan Josh and Korma curry sauces, as well as a Thai Green Curry, while Seasoned Pioneers have a Sri Lankan Curry Sauce, Cajun Jambalaya, Morrocan fennel and apricot Tagine, and a Vietnamese Kho Sauce and we can thoroughly recommend them all. They are made with outstanding ingredients, giving a fresh, punchy taste that compliments our quality meat.
You can also go vegetarian, with butternut squash or cauliflower acting as a great alternative to meat, while the in season Purple Sprouting Broccoli is a great accompaniment.
