We are now stocking Shipton Mill Organic flour alongside Wessex Mill’s superb range. Shipton Mill has fantastic quality flour that Bread Addiction use for all their sourdough loaves.
I’ve never quite understood the attraction of Dorset Knobs,but they’ve always sold well (and there’s a Dorset Knob throwing festival). We have a mighty line up of tins and packets of Dorset Knobs, alongside the extensive range of Dorset biscuits.
Also from Dorset, The Dorset Sea Salt Company have celery salt and smoked applewood salt – two additions that can transform simple dishes into something sublime. Quails eggs are available from the shop, ideal with celery salt, but it works equally well with any egg dish. The smoked applewood salt can turn spark up a steak (ribeye is on offer this week), but experiment with your cooking and see how a little bit of quality salt can lift flavour in surprising ways.
