If you need a single reason to come to Stansted this weekend, then surely supporting Jennifer Gerrish is the one.  Jennifer makes Christmas cakes by hand exclusively for the Stansted Christmas Fayre and was distraught to learn that the Fayre was cancelled due to the weather. They are the ultimate artisan Christmas cake, hand made throughout the process and beautifully finished with icing.

“I make 220 Christmas cakes per year for the Christmas Fayre and it’s my only outlet.  I start making the cakes in July and feed them with rum throughout the year.  I was devastated to learn that the Fayre had been cancelled, but the Farm Shop Christmas Market has been an absolute godsend to me” – Jennifer Gerrish of Something to Celebrate

Jennifer has been making cakes for over 40 years and prides herself in using the best quality ingredients for her Christmas cakes, following a traditional recipe maturing the cakes with rum for 3 months. Each iced and hand-decorated cake comes in a festive box or cellophane wrapped, making them a perfect Christmas gift.

So come along and have a look at the wonderful range of Christmas cakes in different sizes and decorations, and enjoy all the other producers at the Farm Shop Christmas Market.
