We have decided to start a local food delivery service starting this weekend.

Products Online: You can now go to our website and buy our full range of meat from the butchery counter, local cheese, sausage rolls, and home-made pastries from the deli counter, organic veg boxes, milk and dairy, and Sourdough bread, and we are adding new products on a daily basis. In the meantime, if there is anything that you can’t find on the website which you would like, please contact us via email or call 02392 413 576 and we can add it to your order.

There is a minimum order of £30 with a delivery charge of £3.99.  Orders over £60 will be delivered free of charge.

Delivery Areas. We will be delivering to the following areas:

  • Forestside, West Marden, Compton & Walderton
  • Rowlands Castle
  • Westbourne, Emsworth
  • Aldsworth, Funtington, West Ashling, Chichester

Delivery Times: Please order by 12 noon on Tuesdays for delivery on Thursday or Friday of that week.  We will plan 3-hour delivery slots during the afternoon/evening, but until we know what the take-up is for this service, I won’t be able to specify slots at this stage.  However, if you can work with close neighbours and friends and combine for a good-sized order, then we will be able to arrange a tighter delivery slot.  You can leave a coolbox outside the door if you are not able to be home, or if you are self-isolating, in which case please let us know.

This service has been set up as many of our customers are understandably staying away from public spaces on account of Coronavirus. However, if we don’t trade during this period, like many small businesses, we will struggle to keep going.  Please do use this service if you can, and encourage friends and neighbours to do the same.  We want to keep providing you with local, quality, seasonal ingredients and are excited about this new service. Not only will you be supporting the Farm Shop, but also many of the local producers who will struggle during this time.

Your delivery will be packed with care, with hygiene our first priority.  All product will be fresh (and can be frozen) and packed on ice during delivery. We can provide an insulated box for your product if you don’t have your own coolbox.

  • Well done for starting a delivery service. I’m only sorry that we are outside the area, but we’ll probably still come to the shop from time to time.

  • I’d love to take advantage of your delivery service as I’ve long been a customer at the farm shop, particularly the butchery department. However, I notice that Waterlooville is not on your list of the areas you deliver to and wonder if it will be added any time soon.

  • We are locals who live in Stoughton – will you deliver there? It does not seem to be on the list above.

  • Thank you – this is so helpful. We are in Stoughton, so I hope you will drive on thro Walderton to us!

  • I want to join your local delivery service, but looking at the list,Bosham doesn’t feature. Does that mean you won’t come here or that we just got left off the list?

  • Dear Fred and Sam,
that’s fantastic, this will be very helpful for us as we are self isolating because of Peters age(90 this year)
We will send an order on Tuesday.
We have polystyrene food boxes which we can leave outside.

    Best wishes,
    Joyce

  • Dear Fred

What are the chances of your delivering to Langstone Village please? My orders would not be large as I live alone, and have to self isolate which makes life difficult. I guess a fortnightly delivery would suffice, to include milk and dairy produce, fruit and vegetables, meat, fish etc. which I would expect to come to at least £30. If you felt my order would not be worthwhile I would be willing to ring round my friends in the village to see if we could make the order larger between us. My telephone number is 02392 484972

Your thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

    With kind regards

    Pam

  • hi Fred and Sam What a wonderful idea you have suggested to help everyone. Being on my own I will find it difficult to get to £30 , good luck to you all, I will be back when I can . As I eat out of my freezer , hopefully I will be able to order from you.

  • Sounds lovely but I live out of those areas. Look forward to seeing you when corona virus is over and we can go out again. Stay safe.
    My best wishes. Patricia Shuttlewood

  • Fab service. Well done.
I am afraid our household are vegan and veggies but we will try to support you and what you are doing.
The veg box will be a regular order for us.
May I make a suggestion that you have a voluntary donation of option of say…. £2, £4, £8, £10 that can be added to order to donate to food bank for the desperate….would make us all feel better to help even in a small way…Fiona

  • Our first order arrived today to our Havant home and we are delighted. Look forward to being a regular customer!

  • In your email you mentioned about a carry to car service. We would certainly be interested in that as we have been self isolating for 2 weeks now and the car needs a run too.

  • Hello we’re usually regulars at your shop but trying to avoid shops at the moment. If we ordered £50 worth on a regular basis, would you consider delivering to the Drayton area? Or, if not, can we click and collect please? Thank you.
