We are thrilled to be getting Bread Addiction’s fabulous sourdough bread back in the shop tomorrow (Friday).  We will have large loaves (800g) of white, brown, seeded and pumpkin available, and are hoping to be able to stock these every Friday from now on.

Each loaf is made with organic flour, water, sea salt and natural levain (the sourdough starter).  It takes two days to form before being baked and the end result is a magnificent crust, with a bouncy, well-textured crumb that is fully flavoured, complex and satisfying.  It’s healthy and utterly delicious, and will keep fresh for a couple of days and is perfect for toast after that.

Before lockdown, this was our only bread supplier, but Bread Addiction had such a massive boost to their business that they simply did not have the time to come out to the farm shop from Southsea.  Luckily for us, they can now come once a week.  You can buy the bread online, or if you’d live to set up a regular order, contact us and we will put a loaf aside for you every week.
