We are improving our deli counter, as we are joined by our new deli chef, Vicky, who will be building on our home-cooked range of pies, quiche, sausage rolls and other goodies.  We have a new deli fridge and have some fabulous new products as well as bringing back some old favourites.

Vicky will continue to cook all our favourite deli pastries, but will increase the range with salads, dips and other goodies as we start to move into spring.  This week she will be making a chicken and wild garlic pie and has already made pork, lamb and BBQ pork sausage rolls, Goats cheese & tomato quiche, roasted pepper & chorizo quiche, chicken, pepper & courgette pie and beef, ale and mushroom pie.

We have brought back our fresh pesto and rose harrisa, now joined by antipasti, olives, stuffed peppers, grilled artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes.  These can all be tubbed up for you in whatever quantities you feel like.

We will be building up our charcuterie section, but have sliced ham from our fabulous South Downs pork supplier, Scott Free Range, as well as Italian and Spanish salamis and cured meats.

This selection joins our superb cheeses, where we now stock over 80 local, British and Continental cheeses.

Combine this with some of our outstanding chutneys, dips and snacks for the perfect picnic or ploughmans – lunch has just got very exciting!
