If you have some friends or family coming round to enjoy the sunshine this Bank Holiday, then Tom has put together the perfect cheeseboard, ideal for the late spring sunshine.

This board is £17.50 for 150g of each cheese, which will keep 6 of you very happy.

Wild Garlic Cornish Yarg – Made to the same recipe as the nettle yarg, the wild garlic imparts a gentle, garlicy flavour while also making the yarg a bit firmer than the nettle version.  This sings of spring flavour, and won Supergold at the World Cheese Awards, which means the judges considered it one of the top seventy cheeses in the world.

Baron Bigon Brie – is the only traditional raw milk Brie-de-Meaux style cheese produced in the UK. In fact, even the French would be jealous, as this cheese is one of only a handful of its type in the world to be made by the farmer on the farm and can genuinely be called a true farmhouse Brie.

Ticklemore – Ticklemore Goat is known across the World and takes its name from a street in nearby Totnes made famous by its cheese shop. Goats milk from three local farms gives it a stark white colour, firm flinty texture with a mellow yet complex flavour featuring hints of lemon and herbs. Ticklemore is sublime when melted in cooking, perfect when crumbled into a salad or enjoyed on its own.

Gorgonzola – From Piedmont, this Gorgonzola is the flagship for Mario Costa who have been making exceptional Gorgonzolas for four generations. Now in the hands of brother and sister Davide and Federica they moved premises to a state-of-the-art facility where they mature as well as make this award-winning cheese. Since the move, they have reclaimed the most prestigious prize in the Italian cheese world the “Trofeo di San Lucio” in 2018. The Gran Riserva Dolceficato is soft, rich, and sweet quite unlike the picante version.

We have a full selection of other cheeses to choose from, so you can always make your own changes.
