It’s English Wine Week and we have some new wines in stock from Wykes Vineyard on the South Downs in Upper Swanmore.  They have three distinct wines:

PINOT NOIR RED WINE
A delicate and silky cool-climate Pinot Noir. Smoky red fruits and warm spice on the nose with strawberry and cherry on the palate. Ideal with red meats, poultry, or cheese, or just on its own.

BACCHUS DRY WHITE WINE
This complex Bacchus marries elderflower and gooseberry with savoury notes of white pepper and citrus undertones. Ideal on its own, or to accompany fish, game, chicken, or cheese. (similar to a Sauvignon Blanc).

PINOT NOIR ROSÉ WINE
New for this year: a classic light and well-balanced Rosé perfect with a range of cuisine or on its own, elegant and full of flavour.

They join our other English wines: Ashling Park Cuvee and sparkling rosé, Wiston Sparkling, Ditchling red and white, Danebury Vineyards Madeleine, Reserve, Schonberger and sparkling and Albourne Estate, so make sure you celebrate the English sunshine with a chilled glass of white wine this weekend, or a superb Pinot Noir with your BBQ.
