We have been getting Walters Turkeys every Christmas for 9 years and we know how good they are.  However, it’s good to know that they are being recognised as such, winning 2 Gold Stars in the 2021 Great Taste Awards which is a serious achievement.  The judges commented that Walters Free Range Bronze Turkey had

‘buttery wing meat that has that true poultry, fresh farm yard, slightly gamey flavour. Carves beautifully!’

The Walters family celebrated their 50th anniversary year as turkey farmers last year, and this family business continues to go from strength to strength.  Phillip and Julia established the family business of producing very special turkeys for the Christmas market back in 1971, and their children have taken on the day to day running of the business and maintaining superb standards.

The business has grown significantly over recent years but they still uphold the same values: producing a first-class free-range Christmas turkey and a friendly efficient service to their customers.

As the Walters rear, prepare and box all their turkeys on the farm, before delivering them direct to us, we will be able to guarantee plenty of superb quality, award-winning turkeys this year as there is no supply chain issue.   They are available whole, as crowns, or breast roast (off the bone).

This year they have been especially cautious to avoid Bird Flu, and we will be getting the same, superb quality, incredible tasting turkey for you to enjoy at Christmas.

  • Hi, just wondering if I can still order a turkey and a beef joint for Christmas
    It will be to feed 10 and of course extra for Boxing Day ( which I think is the best day for food 🙂
