Ashling Park has won another prestigious award at the Wine GB Awards again this year, this time taking home the Trophy for Best Sparkling Rose, having scooped the President’s trophy for the ‘Best Classic Cuvée NV’ for the previous two years as well (which also won gold this year).  It’s a remarkable achievement considering the level of competition in the UK sparkling wine sector at the moment, with hundreds of entrants from almost every county in England.

This is fully deserved, as Gail Gardner has worked incredibly hard with her team to produce the finest quality wine.  You can visit the vineyard (just 4 miles from the farm shop) for a tour, lunch or supper and you can even stay the night in one of the luxurious lodges.  There is also a gin school where you can make your own gins, but really you need to enjoy their wines.  We sell their Cuvée and rosé at £29.95 and £31.50 which is a superb price for a world-class bottle of Sussex Sparkling.

You might be interested to know that Sussex wines now have their own Sussex Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Status, after DEFRA granted them DOP status on the 5th July, giving Sussex wine the same legal status as Jersey Royal potatoes, Cornish clotted cream and Stilton cheese.

So, come along to the Farm Shop, or book a tasting at Ashling Park, and celebrate their success with a glass of Sussex Sparlking,
