We have three brand new beers in this week, from our regular brewers, Long Man and Powder Monkey.  Long Man Brewery have turned their hand to more modern beers, with the introduction of two new beers to add to the range, while Powder Monkey Brewery have a new BBQ Sizzler:

NINE80 is the flagship beer in their brand-new Long Man Creations range. This New England IPA pays homage to their mighty combine harvester, the New Holland CR 9.80. The beer is as bold and vibrant as our impressive harvesting machine.

Loaded with tech, the 9.80 harvests barley of the highest spec. It truly is an amazing piece of equipment that is key to helping them produce award-winning beer!

Their Long Man barley is grown right on their farm, under the watchful eye of the Long Man of Wilmington. They adopt pioneering and sustainable farming techniques to ensure their soil is at its finest for growing. This helps them to craft naturally excellent, quality-tasting beer.

So, raise a glass and enjoy the delicious taste of the all-new NINE80.

TWENTY12 is a celebration beer! This brand-new hazy pale ale marks 10 years of Long Man Brewery. Back in 2012, the founding fathers Steve and Duncan set out on a journey to create a naturally excellent beer. And they did just that.

Duncan’s passion for regenerative farming and Steve’s knowledge and connections in the industry was a winning combination.

The Cuckmere Valley is a special place. It is here that the Long Man story started, and their diversification and conservation mean they are sustainable and will secure the farm for future generations.

Over 40 awards later, they are going from strength-to-strength and exploring new horizons with this modern style of beer.

So, here’s to the last decade of delight. Happy TWENTY12.

Powder Monkey’s BBQ Sizzler NZ Pale Ale

A light and refreshing Pale Ale showcasing New Zealand hops that bring a white grape and gooseberry aroma reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc with subtle floral notes. This beer has been designed to pair with lighter dishes such as seafood and chicken where delicate flavours can be teased out and highlighted by the fragrant hop aroma.
