Tunworth is one the UK’s finest cheeses, having won Supreme Champion twice at the British Cheese Awards alongside numerous other awards. This camembert-style Hampshire cheese should be on every cheese board, but it can also be gently baked, until it melts into a soft, oozing pot, which you can sink into with some crusty bread, cold meats or roast potatoes for an easy, luxurious winter supper. It’s like a mini cheese fondue, ideal for a main course for 2, or starter for 4.
You can bake it in the oven, or even on the fire or BBQ. Depending on your preference, you can add herbs and garlic, nuts and honey, onion marmalade, or boozy sultanas, depending on your mood or the occasion.
