It’s time to spice up your curries, tagines, and stews with this amazing range of gourmet cooking sauces from Seasoned Pioneers. We used to stock these sauces a while ago, but the wholesaler stopped using them, so we have now gone direct to the producer. The selection is different from many sauces out there, the flavours are fabulous, and it makes life very easy to produce a superb meal in less than 30 minutes.

Sri Lankan Curry – deep, intense flavours of zingy tamarind and tart fenugreek. These ingredients generously compliment the sultry notes in the handcrafted Sri Lankan Curry Powder, and combine with the creamy, rich and addictive coconut–based curry sauce. (works well with chicken, fish, tofu and vegetables)
Moroccan Fennel & Apricot Tagine – Sweet flavours of fennel and apricots are laced with floral notes of lavender and rose petals. The famous ras-el-hanout spice blend is accompanied with fiery ginger and black pepper. The addition of sweet aniseed notes of fennel delivers an unbeatable balance of flavours. (works well with chicken, lamb, mutton and vegetables)
Indonesian Rendang Gourmet Cooking Sauce – Welcome these irresistible Indonesian flavours to your home. Our handcrafted Indonesian Seven Seas spice mix is tempered slowly with shrimp paste and tamarind paste. We then add the authentic Asian flavours of galangal, kaffir lime leaves and birdseye chillies to create an enriched coconut cooking sauce. (works well with chicken, beef, fish and vegetables)
Thai Panang – This sauce contains a fearless infusion of searing birdseye chillies, combined with classic Thai ingredients such as galangal and shrimp paste. Fresh, citrus flavours of Thai holy basil and kaffir lime leaves pair with creamy coconut milk to inject an addictive sweetness into the dish. (works well with Prawns, Tofu, Chicken, Beef, Pork, Fish)
The Cajun Jambalaya Gourmet Cooking Sauce is made using the traditional Louisianan holy trinity: bell peppers, celery and onions. These ingredients are combined with the Seasoned Pioneers handcrafted Cajun spice mix. This powerhouse of feisty flavours encompasses the zest and fire of Louisianan cuisine. Jambalaya is typically a one-pot dish, made by mixing chicken, andouille sausage and shrimp with rice, vegetables and a hot spice mix. This creates a rich, fruity and warming meal, often considered comfort food.
Each pack will serve 4 portions, with simple cooking instructions on the back. With most of the dishes, you need to fry off the meat, fish or veg, then add the sauce and cook until heated through. Serve with rice or noodles, depending on the dish.
