Bodegas Manzanos, Finca Manzanos Crianza, DOCa Rioja, Spain, 2020 – boasting some of the oldest vines in Rioja, this aromatic and intense Spanish wine has lovely aromas of wild red berries, blossom, nutmeg and hints of sandalwood. Fresh, fruity and well balanced with sensations of raspberries, vanilla and cinnamon, it’ would be lovely with Easter lamb, chargrilled meat and tapas. £12.99

Jean-Luc Colombo, Les Abeilles Rouge, Côtes du Rhône, France – “Les Abeilles” (The Bees) is named for the bees that inhabit the vineyards in the southern Rhône Valley where this Côtes du Rhône is produced. The bees thrive in these vineyards because no harsh pesticides are used. Deep and bright purple colour. Les Abeilles Rouge has a gorgeous, seductive nose of small red fruits, coriander and bay leaf. The palate is meaty yet silky, with notes of liquorice and spices, elegant tannins and a good aromatic persistence.  £15.55
