We have a consignment of the most incredible cinnamon buns arriving tomorrow (Friday) from Bread Addiction in Southsea. We even have a few tasters, just to reassure you that you are about to experience a life-changing piece of bakery. These buns are truly exceptional: sticky, chewy, deeply satisfying laminated enriched dough filled with cinnamon paste
To be fair, Bread Addiction sets the Bread bar very high as well. Voted into one of the top ten bakeries in the UK by the Financial Times, they have consistently produced beautiful sourdough bread with simple ingredients: organic flour, pure water, sea salt and natural levain.
We have their white and brown sourdough, their seeded and pumpkin breads, and now their baguette and white bloomer, delivered fresh from the bakery every Friday morning.
We also stock Westbourne Bakery’s bread during the week, but unfortunately, The Hungrey Guest Bakery has stopped supplying wholesale, so we are starting to work with SØDT bakery which has exceptional loaves, including Corn Bread and Danish Rye.
