If you’ve been walking through country lanes over the last few weeks, you may have noticed an abundance of sloes on the blackthorn, the branches festooned with beautiful dark purple plums.  You can make your own sloe gin, or you can rely on the family expertise of the Dampney family in East Meon to harvest these hedgerow fruit (along with other wild plums, locally grown fruits and flowers) and produce this fantastic range of liqueurs.

They will be joining us for a tasting at our producers market tomorrow, so have a sample and tell them which you prefer, so that we can be sure to stock your tipple in the run-up to Christmas.

There’s a great choice of gin, vodka, or rum-based liqueurs in 10 or 50cl bottles, and they can be drunk neat, on ice, or as a delicious mix.

Enjoy these hand-picked, hand-pressed drinks that use natural ingredients, time and skill to give you a range of delicious hedgerow tastes.
