I’m delighted to highlight one of the premium lines we stock: Mr Organic. They are a superb company and there are lots of great reasons to grab a tin or jar and have a chat with them on Friday at the Producers Market.
Mr Organic was founded in 2009 by Valerio Simonetti, who comes from a three-generation family of tomato producers around Pontinia, south of Rome.Their mission is to deliver “honest and authentic Italian products that are both healthy and organic.” and they now offer over 120 pantry essentials (beans & legumes, pasta sauces, tomato basics, pestos, oils & vinegars, rice & pasta, soups) — all organic.
We stock a small part of their range, but have been increasing it recently and we’d love to find out what our customers think of their products following their visit on Friday.
We love the fact that this is a product that offers full traceability back to the farm. Their farms are fully organic, so every tin and jar is free from synthetic pesticides and artificial flavourings.
The tomato production is “seed-to-shelf” on their own Italian land, processed within five hours of harvest to lock in flavour and minimise transport.
They are certified as a B Corp, a mark of high social and environmental standards.
