Our deli counter is full of homemade produce, charcuterie and cheese. The kitchen stocks the counter with sausage rolls, pies, pasties, Scotch eggs, quiche and other baked goodies, providing great quality food to go. The brownies are legendary and homemade cakes and cookies are ideal after a long walk in the park.

We have a selection of charcuterie, starting with our home baked ham. Sandridge Gammon is simmered in a stock, before being scored and glazed. Available by the slice or whole for a party, it’s seriously tasty. We make our own salt beef and pastrami, and have a range of salami and other meats.

We specialize in local cheese because the quality and variety is superb. Top of the bunch would be Tunworth, Supreme Champion at the British Cheese Awards twice in the last 12 years, this Hampshire cheese is described by Raymond Blanc as “The best Camembert in the world”. They also produce Winslade. Isle of Wight Blue is also right up there, and we love the mighty Lyburn Cheese with Old Winchester and Stoney Cross being two of our favourites. Goodwood have a couple of lovely cheeses, and High Weald Dairy have a great range as well, including goat and sheep’s milk cheeses, and Golden Cross is another Sussex goat’s cheese that we can highly recommend. We of course stock other great British cheeses, with Stilton, Cheddar in particular, as well as guest cheeses from Europe, so come and have a taste.
