Join us in celebrating our Farm Shop Birthday party in the shop and courtyard with a fabulous selection of local producers, tastings, demos and of course a truly delicious lunch for the bargain price of £5.

We will have Chichester Harbour Gin, Emsworth beer and Henning wine tastings (available by the glass if you like the taste), with Chalkstream smoked trout, Hampshire Salami and local cheeses to stimulate the taste buds.

We are planning to have three cookery stations, serving off wood and charcoal fire, with our Big Green Eggs offering slow cooked meats, fish and local vegetables alongside Gavin’s superb salads, and we will be introducing a new cooking device, the OFYR which will hopefully get you in the mood for outdoor cooking. We are taking delivery of one this week, so we will be doing some thorough testing and tasting over the next couple of weeks.  Come and see the ovens in action and there will be demonstrations throughout the day.

We will have our local veg supplier with their seasonal produce and their VegBred, a gluten free sweet potato bread, and hope to have Simon from the Sauerkraut Company as well as a new local Kefir company – making sure you keep healthy and happy.  You can finish with a scoop or two of delicious local ice cream or sorbet and a handmade chocolate or two.

As usual this will be a celebration of our great local producers.  It’s a chance to meet some of the guys who do the hard work or creating food and drink that we sell in the shop, so come along and enjoy the day.
