Syrian Supper – Raising money for Syrian Refugees
11 October 2018 from 20:30 - 23:00£35.00
Join us for a three course Syrian Supper at Stansted Park Farm Shop at 7pm on Thursday October 11th.
All proceeds raised on the night will go towards supporting Syrian Refugees here in our communities and in Lebanon at the refugee camps. The charities involved are Children on the Edge and Rural Refugee Network.
Syrian food is delicious and will be the inspiration for the dinner, with a range of mezze, local lamb and desert.
Children on the Edge Work in partnership with local communities, creating safe, child friendly environments. They support over 10,000 children to realise their rights, and restoring the ingredients of a full childhood through the generation of hope, life, colour and fun.
Rural Refugee Network was set up locally to help the UK Government to both honour it’s current commitment to Syrian Refugees and to extend it’s ambition in order to successfully settle further Syrian refugees to the UK. Their goal is to help refugees to fully integrate into rural communities and connect with local activities by acting as a hub that coordinates the relevant local social, cultural, political, and economic bodies and institutions.
Tickets are available to buy below or directly from the farm shop. If you would like any further information, please contact Emily Mott or Fred Duncannon.
