This is to demonstrate how tasty venison is, and how it can be used in place of beef to make a delicious gourmet burger. The advantage of making it yourself is that you know what has gone into the burger, and it might well be one of the tastiest burgers you will ever eat.

The venison is sourced from the estate, so has zero food miles, while being completely sustainable. The deer are wild, and without their numbers being kept in check, they can cause huge damage to the estate woodland.

We will make an onion marmalade to accompany the burger as well as a smoked tomato relish that we sell in the farm shop.
