1 Bunch of fresh Rogate Asparagus
The Asparagus season has started early this year following a mild winter and the recent hot weather. We get our asparagus direct from the Davey’s farm in Rogate and it is incredibly fresh, sweet and full of flavour.
Local asparagus is hard to beat, delicious raw, steamed, boiled or grilled (try it on the BBQ). It’s superb on its own dipped in hollandaise sauce and you can create a simple lunch with a poached egg, toast and grated Old Winchester Cheese.
