This Ditchling Red is a special blend of Dornfelder and Pinot Noir, aged on the grape skins for 12 months prior to pressing, in French barrels for 6 months and finally for 6 months in the bottle. A soft and fruity red; smooth acidity and light tannic structure with warming red fruit aromas with lots of blackcurrants, cherry and spice on the palate.
Enjoy on its own or with roast chicken, seared tuna and lightly spiced dishes.
