Scotch Egg


Our home-made sausage rolls use prime cuts of free-range South Downs pork, rolled in our own pastry. They constitute a serious meal and are perfect for sharing with a salad for lunch.  Made fresh a couple of times a week, we make the pastry from scratch.  This is one sausage roll where you can trust every ingredient.

Each sausage roll is about 8 inches long and weighs approximately 240g. They are ideal for picnics or lunch on the go, and you can reheat them at home (10 minutes at 180°C).

This is a substantial Scotch egg that uses free-range hallgate eggs from Petworth with a fantastic golden yolk, and free-range South Downs Pork from Scott Free Range in Storrington.  The result is a hugely satisfying, rich Scotch Egg that has a crunchy exterior, proper sausage meat, and a runny yolk.  It’s a very popular deli item.
