SØDT Bakery makes traditional, artisan bread and pastries using locally-sourced natural ingredients. Based in Petworth, SØDT was started by Troels Bendix who was at the forefront of the artisan bread movement in London, before moving locally and helping to start the Hungry Guest Bakery. He started SØDT in 2015 and makes a superb range of breads and pastries.
SØDT ORIGINAL – Troels and Pawel’s original sourdough recipe. A multi flour loaf with wholemeal, white and rye – 600g
4 SEED SOUR – A multi flour sourdough bread with malty undertones and a mix of seeds – 600g
CORN BREAD – A yeasted wheat and maize bread with sunflower seeds – 600g
DANISH RYE BREAD – A sourdough dark malted wholegrain rye bread with seeds, based on Troels’s grandmother’s recipe. This bread is best kept in a sealed bag in the fridge where it will last for up to 10 days – 800g
NORDIC RYE – A lighter rye bread without whole grains or seeds – 700g

Wow the corn bread !!! It’s light , crispy on the outside … soft in the centre with just a hint of seeds …. best bread ever 🙂
